Blackhawk Industries JSDF Camo Pattern
If you are interested in designer clothing, outdoor equipment, scale modelling, sports equipment, playing an instrument or collecting in general, etc. you`ll end up in Japan.
It`s always the same: when a hobby exceeds an average level, you`ll envy japanese special editions that are very hard to come by.
Years ago when Tokyo Marui released their Type 89, i was thinking about doing a propper JSDF impression if i`ll ever get my hand on some original japanese army gear. As you`ll know that this is VERY hard to get, so i decided to drop the idea (after a few weeks on the lookout) and also let the Type 89 go, too.
Yesterday i came across these pictures:

I don`t have any more information about it but it seems that Blackhawk Industries did a run on japanese camo gear. If they are especially made for the military or only for the civvy market remains a mystery to me (so far).
God bless i haven`t seen some Japanese Special Forces with this BHI gear yet!
Perhaps i`ll get the JSDF fever again!
To be continued…

BLACKHAWK: New japanese Army Gear?! | Airsoft Community Europe News Blog said this on August 12, 2011 at 4:24 pm |
Hmm, seems Blackhawk is jumping on the bandwagon with other countries gear after popularity has slumped in the USA?
hello. It is true that these JSDF gears are made by BHI. Actually a Japanese shop order directly to BHI as special order.
Similar to polish wz.93 Pantera camo.
