The Art Of VTG (Back In Japan)

If you followed my blog a bit, you`ll have recognized that I am a big fan of Japanese companies and their people. It doesen`t matter if you are into photography, fashion, sports, electronic music gear, tiny remote control cars, collecting art-prints or like awesome lifestyle products in general (furniture, mobile phones or handheld game consoles), sooner or later you`ll end up in Japan. Almost any big(ger) (and cool) company on earth releases special versions for the Japanese market, so if you are looking for the extra dope and limited pimped ΓΌbershit, go look in J-Land! Besides this, Japanese product design, packaging and presentation seems so often unmatched and they always pay great attention to detail – Geek dreams come true! πŸ™‚

So let`s get back to Airsoft (and nylon gear) and visit our friends of VOLK TACTICAL GEAR again. They are located in Osaka and manufacture all their stuff in Japan (and that seems another reason why the prices are so damn Gucci compared to Eagle, Mayflower or TT)!
VTG`s product line is really fresh but is not for the serious reenactor/impressionist! If you are looking at the pictures below, you`ll get a better understand what I am writing about.
Most pouches and rigs are Real World inspired but always have their unique VTG branding: cool labels, exotic camouflage, different layouts, more added features.
Probably you`ll never see their gear used by real Operators, so this is not for you hardcore Mil-Sim-Guys out there, but sometimes it`s all about design, style and FUN, isn`t it? 😎

Of course VTG is into A-TACS FG and does a great job! πŸ™‚

It`s cool to see interesting colour and camo combinations: here RG and A-TACS FG:

What a dope Glock! πŸ™‚

And now they are into their own M4 receivers, too! Awesome! 😎 😎 😎

Still not convinced of the Japanese way? Perhaps you are taking your hobby too serious!!!
Keep your Alans on and get some beers! πŸ˜‰

Here are a crazy bunch of Japanese Airsofters (…do you spot some VTG here`n`there?):
